About Greg Nipp

Greg first started playing guitar at age 14.  He was soon practicing up to six hours a day and within 3 years Greg was playing in a working band, recording demos and traveling throughout the Southeast.

Greg began teaching guitar in 1994 at the request of several friends who would become his first students. Since that time Greg has twice been voted "Best Guitarist in Chattanooga" by the readers of Enigma Magazine, Chattanooga's premier entertainment weekly. He has played concerts opening for Kansas, played on stage with Bruce Kulick of KISS, and performed many times with Angie Aparo, author of Faith Hill's hit song "Cry".  In his sixteen years of instructing experience he has had the opportunity to teach scores of Chattanooga guitarists and future guitarists the tools of the trade. Or simply how to have fun playing the guitar. His students have ranged in age from 5 to 80 and beyond. Click here to find out what some of them have to say about working with Greg.

Greg has completed a full length CD released with his band Hypnowheel. The recording will soon be available on iTunes. There are however some samples available.
